According to HammerAI's desktop page, the desktop app is "powered by Ollama and Llama.cpp". That means it downloads an open-source language model and runs it on your machine:

Tipsy Chat, also searched as "tipsy ai" or "tipsy chat ai", is a character chat and interactive-story app. Its App Store listing is titled "Tipsy Chat: Live Your Story" and its developer is Lightspeed Intelligence. It's available on iOS, Android and the web at tipsy.chat, and its FAQ also lists RuStore.

What sets it apart is visuals and story tools:

• Real-time image and video generation inside chats.
• Voice calls with characters.
• ScenePlay Mode, described as "cinematic storytelling with interactive choices and dynamic visuals".
• Unlimited custom characters, even on the free plan, per its subscription FAQ.
• The Google Play listing claims support for 20+ languages. We didn't confirm whether Hindi is one of them.

How Tipsy Chat pricing works: you can chat without subscribing. The free plan includes 3 "Inspirations", 3 "Role Cards" and up to 1M tokens of memory. Paid tiers add unlimited Inspirations, more Role Cards, a "Pinned Memory" feature, priority image generation and a monthly gem allowance. These names often come up alongside Dippy and Tipsy, but what we could verify is limited:

• Butter Chat: the most likely match is Butter (trybutter.app). It's a group-chat app where real friends and AI companions share one chat. At the time of writing its site shows it as "coming soon" on iOS and Android with a waitlist, and no pricing is published.
• AnglerAI: the only app store listing we found under this exact name is an AI fishing app that identifies fish species. We couldn't verify an AI character chat product called AnglerAI, so be careful with lookalike sites.
• Blackchat: we couldn't find an official site or app store listing for an AI character chat app by this name. Several unrelated apps use similar names. Stick to apps with a clear developer name and official store listing.

A useful rule of thumb: before signing up for any AI chat app, check who the developer is, read the privacy policy and check the store rating. Don't download APKs from unofficial sites.
