AI Disclaimer
Effective 19 September 2026
- Every character is an AI. None of them are real people — even the famous ones.
- They make things up, confidently. Fact-check anything that matters.
- Nothing a character says is medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice.
- If you're struggling, talk to a real person — contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
Characters are AI
Replies are generated by large language models from the character's instructions, your conversation and, sometimes, reference material. No human writes them in real time. Characters based on real or well-known people are fictional portrayals; they don't represent the views of those people, their estates, or rights-holders, and aren't endorsed by them.
They can be wrong
- AI output can be inaccurate, outdated, biased, or entirely invented ("hallucinated"), even when it sounds certain.
- Characters may claim to remember things, have feelings, or be human. That's part of the fiction, not fact.
- Unfiltered models, available only to adults who opt in, apply little or no content filtering and can produce explicit, violent or disturbing material.
Not professional advice
Don't use characters as a substitute for doctors, lawyers, financial advisers, therapists or other professionals, and don't act on their output where safety, health, money or legal rights are involved.
Your wellbeing
Chatting with characters is meant to be fun and creative. If you notice it affecting your sleep, relationships or mood, take a break. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline right away — a character can't help you in an emergency.
Be careful what you share
Your messages are sent to AI model providers to generate replies (see the Privacy Policy). Avoid sharing passwords, financial details, or sensitive information about yourself or others.
