Pricing: Janitor AI free vs Kirdaar credits

Janitor AI free: you can chat with JanitorLLM at no cost. It's the main reason Janitor grew so fast. The trade-off is quality and memory, which many users say are inconsistent.

Janitor+ ($12.99/month): launched 24 June 2026. Roughly 5× context (better memory), unlimited priority messages, enhanced swipes and a badge. Janitor says the base site and JLLM remain free.

Proxy costs: if you connect your own provider, you pay them. OpenRouter's free models, for example, allow 50 requests a day unless you've bought at least 10 credits. See OpenRouter free models for roleplay.

Most messages cost 1–2 credits, and credits never expire. You can also add your own Hugging Face token so model usage is billed to your Hugging Face account instead of using credits. Free HF accounts include a small monthly inference credit, and beyond that HF charges its providers' rates. Check your HF billing page.

Verdict on price: if you're happy with a free model, Janitor is cheaper. If you'd otherwise pay for Janitor+ every month, occasional users will usually spend less on Kirdaar's one-time packs. See pricing.

Setup: proxy vs pick-and-chat

This is the biggest day-to-day difference.

On Janitor AI, getting a stronger model usually means opening API settings, pasting a key, choosing a model name and sometimes a custom URL. When it breaks you see 401, 402 or 429 errors (our Janitor AI fixes guide explains each).

On Kirdaar AI, you choose Fast, Balanced or Best from a menu. There are no keys to manage unless you choose to add a Hugging Face token.

Winner: Kirdaar for simplicity, Janitor for flexibility.

Language: Hindi and Hinglish

Janitor's interface is English, and most bots are written in English. You can ask for Hindi, but results depend on the model and the bot's definition, and characters often drift back to English.

Janitor AI is 18+ and permits mature content, with rules against illegal and harmful material. Filtering varies by bot and model. In the UK, Australia and Brazil, users must verify their age through k-ID (face estimate, ID scan or AgeKey); Janitor says it only receives a yes/no result.

Library, community and apps

Janitor wins here. Its community has published an enormous number of bots, it has an active subreddit (r/JanitorAI_Official) and Discord, and official iOS and Android apps.

Reliability

Janitor has had DDoS attacks, outages and "Access Restricted" firewall pages that block some legitimate users. Kirdaar is a much smaller service, which means less traffic to cope with, but also less of a track record. Keep copies of stories you care about on any platform.

Privacy

Both store chats on their servers. On Janitor, a proxy sends your messages to a third-party provider too. On Kirdaar, adding a Hugging Face token routes model calls through your HF account. On either, don't share personal identifiers.
